Five drivers at Bibiani in the Western Region were fined GH¢100 each for various traffic offences by the Bibiani Circuit Court.
They were Kwaku Nkrumah 21, Kwame Antoh 42, Eric Mensah 32, Frank Addai 24 and Tina Omega 24.
They pleaded guilty and fined GH¢100 each or serve two months imprisonment each in default.
The court presided over by Mr Osei Kofi Amoako also ordered each of them to sign a bond to be of good behaviour for six months or in default serve 12 months imprisonment.
Police Chief Inspector Alex Asamoah prosecuting, told the court that during the afternoon of May 10, this year, personnel from Bibiani Police Motor Traffic Unit (MTTU) on their usual duties arrested the accused persons at different unauthorised places picking passengers and after investigations charged.
