The Overlord of the Gonjaland Traditional Council Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale has provided financial support to 54 students in Savannah Region through the Bii-Kunuto Educational Fund to enable them to continue with tertiary education.

The financial support, worth GHC 181,000.00, is to cater for the beneficiaries, who are brilliant, but lack financial support, to continue their education.

Issifu Soalehu, Secretary Bii-Kunuto Educational Fund said this significant milestone is more than a mere act of financial support, it is a bold testament to our kingdom’s commitment to empowering the youth, breaking the chains of poverty, and creating opportunities for all.
 

He added that “the support you have received today is a symbol of the Kingdom’s faith in you, Carry this responsibility with pride and diligence. Work hard, pursue excellence, and let your success serve as a beacon of hope for others.”

Beneficiaries express gratitude for initiating this life-transforming intervention and seeing this as great cushioning in their educational lives.

They further promise to make Savannah Region proud by coming out with good classes.
