The Womenpreneur Tour Africa, a transformative initiative supporting female-led startups in Sub-Saharan Africa, has arrived in Ghana, highlighting women entrepreneurs' success stories in agritech and fintech. With over 20,000 women empowered across 23 countries, this sixth stop aims to bridge the gap between Middle East and African entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Sana Afouaiz, CEO and founder of Womenpreneur, noted that 46% of Ghanaian women in entrepreneurship face challenges like limited access to funding, technology, and qualified training. To address these issues, the tour worked with local ecosystems, including Djembe Consultants, Kosmos Innovation Center, and ALX.
