Among the project areas were the Health Assistant Training School in Anloga, the Anloga Shopping Centre, and a land allocated for the Anloga District Assembly office Complex.

This was in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry on Thursday. The Deputy Minister advised the Assembly to secure a bigger land in future as the current site was being encroached.

He said the district assemblies must involve communities members in decision making as it would enhance the execution of the Assembly’s developmental plans.

 This would also encourage them to contribute their quota in revenue mobilisation for district and national development, she said.

The Deputy Minister also visited the South Tongu District Assembly in Sogakope to inspect developmental projects and advised the Assembly to develop strategies to help improve revenue mobilisation to enhance development in the area.

He appealed to the heads of departments of the district assemblies to contribute their quota to revenue mobilisation.

Mr Emmanuel Lewis Agamah, the District Chief Executive of South Tongu District, disclosed that a banana factory would be completed and commissioned soon in the District.

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by Mr Maxwell Blagodzi, the Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Mr Seth Yormewu Keta, the Municipal Chief Executive, and Mr Kodjoe Dekpo, the Municipal Chief Director.

Others were Mr Sefe Richard, the Providing Member and Mr Isaac Adja Tetteh, the Regional Planning Officer.
