The Ghana Tertiary Women's Network (GTWN) is set to hold the 3rd edition of Ghana Tertiary Women's Summit (GTWS) to commemorate the 2018 International Women's Day celebration.
A statement signed by Mr Richmond Anim Damoah, the Founder of the Network copied to the GNA said the 3rd edition tagged, “the financially wise woman” would be held in Accra on 2nd March at the Knustford University Auditorium. The statement said the edition, which would be held on the theme: "Own the Future", would bring together speakers from industry and in strategic positions to provide relevant information to tertiary women to equip and empower them financially.
The speakers at the Summit would include Dr. Joyce Aryee, the Former CEO of Ghana Chamber of Mines; Dr. Mrs Ellen Hagan, the CEO of L’aine Services Limited; Oheneyere Dr. Gifty Anti, the Host of The Standpoint Show; Mrs Lucy Quist, the President of AIMS Ghana and Ms. Paulina Kuranchie, a PR Consultant.
Others speakers are Ms Sandra Ankobiah, the Co-Founder of SN Media Learning Tree; Becca, a Renowned Musician; Kafui Danku, a Filmamaker; Anita Akua Akufo of GHOne TV; Esinam Seade of Essydel Events and Mr Martin Ofori, the CEO of Crystal Capital Investment Limited.
The statement said: "The event is free to attend and will feature keynote conversations, panel discussions, one-on-one mentorship and skills training. The event is designed to inspire action and fuel creativity in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Health, Education and Ministry."
The GTWS is an annual all tertiary women empowerment and woman leadership development programme, which seeks to celebrate the doers and serves as a source of inspiration.
It is aimed at giving them support that connects and empowers women across Ghana, helping them to realise their potential and reach new heights.
