A blast at an ammunition depot in Lipetsk region in the central federal district of Russia has killed three people and wounded several others, local reports said on Wednesday.
Citing a source from the regional emergencies department, the Itar-Tass news agency said the blast occurred at 10:20 a.m. Moscow time (0620 GMT) at an ammunition depot in a missile artillery base.
"The boxes with powder detonated," the source was quoted as saying.
However, the report didn't specify the exact number of people injured.
An investigation is underway.
