Mr Edward K. Tayi, an old student of the Half Assini Senior High, has presented 16 pieces of brass band instruments and other items to the Half Assini Senior High school towards the celebration of the 50th Anniversary celebration of the school.
The move was in response to an appeal made by the authorities of the school to Mr Tayi who is based in Atlanta, USA.
He refurbished the Science Centre and presented a set of jerseys to school last year.
Mr Francis Acquah, the Local President of the Half Assini Old Boys Association, presented the items on behalf of the Mr Tayi.
The Assistant Headmaster of the school In-charge of Academic Affairs, Mr Elijah Nkrumah, received the items on behalf of the school and said Mr Tayi had been a friend of the school and had contributed to the development of the school.
He appealed to the other old students to assist their Alma Mata.
School authorities, students and old students of the school have undertaken a clean-up exercise at the school and in Half Assini town as part of activities towards the celebration of the anniversary.
