The University of Cape Coast Practice Senior High School has presented relief items to the Agona Nyakrom flood victims at Agona Nyakrom.
The items include used clothing, children's wear, foot wears, toilet rolls, bags of rice, soap and sachet water.
Mrs Juliana Owusu-Ansah, the Headmistress of the School, said the donation formed part of activities marking the 34th Anniversary celebration and 17th Speech and Prize Giving Day which comes off on Saturday at Cape Coast.
She appealed to the government and corporate bodies to come to the aid of the school by helping in the provision of infrastructure.
Nana Okofo Katakyi Nyakoh Eku X, Omanhene of Nyakrom Traditional Area who received the items, thanked the students and authorities for coming to the aid of the victims.
He said the disaster which hit Agona Swedru on June 20 had brought hardship to the people.
Nana Nyakoh Eku urged the students to study hard and appealed to corporate bodies and other institutions to assist the victims.
