Moslems have been urged to continue to live in peace with their neighbours to enable them to contribute their quota towards national development.
The call was made by Mr Jonathan Nii Tackie Komme, Member of Parliament for the Odododiodioo Constituency in Accra on Wednesday, when he presented some items to a number of Mosques within the Ashiedu Keteke Sub Metropolitan Area to support the celebration of this year's Eidul Fitr on Friday.
Six Moslem Community chiefs and 35 Mosques in the area benefited from the MP's donation of 80 bags of rice, 30 cartons of cooking oil and 800
mats.
Mr Tackie Komme congratulated Moslems for going through the one month Ramadan fasting successfully and commended them for their prayers for the prosperity of the country, the government and people of Ghana.
The MP urged them to continue the inter faith dialogue with Christians and followers of other religions to ensure peaceful co-existence and national progress.
He advised Moslem youth to take their studies seriously to enable them to become useful citizens of the country.
