A 70-year-old peasant farmer, Opanyin Kofi Mensah, has been registered alongside 52 others in the ongoing voters registration review exercise at Bantama-Osanadze Electoral Area in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District.
The Registration Officer, Mr Joseph Quaicoe, said Opanyin Mensah spent his youthful days in Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions as a farm hand in the remotest farming communities and could not have access to registration.
As at Sunday June 13, 25 others also had their voter identification cards replaced.
Mr Quaicoe said he was optimistic the exercise would chalk success but called for more publicity to ensure 100 per cent coverage.
