Think Education Ghana (TEG), a non-governmental organization (NGOs) dedicated to promotion of education, has appealed to candidates to abide by the rules and regulations of the Basic Education
Certificate Examination (BECE) and refrain from any acts that could jeopardize their education.
Speaking at a sensitization meeting with over 300 candidates for the examination at Kade at the week-end, the Chief Executive Officer (CED) of
TEG, Mr Frank Asante, any breach of rules governing the examination could lead to the cancellation of a paper or the entire examination.
He said erring candidates might in some cases be barred from re-sitting the examination for a period or even be prosecuted.
Mr Asante told the candidates not to depend on anyone but to rely on their own strength.
Think Education Ghana was formed about a year ago and has been providing education materials to students.
It has been organizing internal and external trips to students who excel in the BECE and the West African Examination Council Examination for
Senior High School students.
The NGO has also been sensitizing students on how to excel in their studies and been organizing seminars, talk shows and has been collaborating
with other organizations to organize science and mathematic quizzes and education dramas.
