Primate Seth Adofo, the Spiritual Leader of the Brotherhood Church, has admonished Christians to incessantly pray for peace and progress.
He said, as Christians, it behooved them to always sacrifice their lives and reflect on what they could do for the on-ward development and welfare of people.
Primate Adofo was delivering a sermon to mark Palm Sunday and the launch of a national youth convention of the Church in Kumasi on Sunday.
He said Christians must be filled with the spirit of God in order to cope with worldly pleasure.
He stressed the need for young followers of Jesus Christ to use their youthful exuberance to help in Christ ministry instead of wasting it on useless ventures.
Primate Adofo called on them to lead healthy and modest lives worthy of emulation and also have respect for the elderly in society.
Reverend Dr Oduro Kwakye, Coordinator of the youth Ministry of the Church, advised the participants to refrain from unchristian habits that were likely to ruin their lives and also impede against the development of the church.
He advised them to be disciplined and allow the Word of God to guide them in their daily lives.
Miss Elizabeth Asare, General Secretary of the Ministry spoke against bad friends and asked Christians to let Jesus Christ be at the centre of the lives.
