Four people, who were charged with the murder of a remedial student at Power College, a private Senior High School in Ho on Thursday, appeared before a Ho Magistrate Court.
They were Patrick Agbeve and Joshua Dzorgbedor, both students, John Amedor, unemployed and Selasi Fiifi Oduah, a mason.
Their pleas were not taken.
Ms Mercy Akorli, Chief Superintendent of Police presenting the facts of the case to the court presided over by Mr Yaw Atta Sampong, said on 14th October last year some students of Power College reported to the Police that a female student was found dead a few meters away from the school.
She said when the Police got there at about 1000 hours they found the victim, who was later identified as Ms Annie Mensah, 20, dead, in a pool of blood.
Ms Akorli said upon close observation the Police found gunshot wounds on the body.
She said the Police traced the blood to the classroom of a Primary School some 40 meters away.
Ms Akorli said the Police found an English text book the victim collected from Dzorgbedor the
previous evening with the body and also found the third and fourth accused persons in an adjoining
classroom.
Ms Akorli said upon Police investigations the four accused persons were arrested.
They are to reappear before the same court on 11th March, 2010.
