Jonas Atsu, a self-styled businessman, who allegedly stole a brand new motorbike in Ho was arrested in Accra while offering it for sale.
He pleaded not guilty to stealing at a Ho Magistrate Court, presided over by Mr Yaw Atta Sampong.
Atsu who is on a 1,000 Ghana cedis bail with two sureties was asked to report to the police daily until his next appearance on March 5.
Ms. Sylvia Okan, Inspector of Police, prosecuting told the court that Atsu stole the 1,600 Ghana cedis bike from the room of a teacher at Tsiyikpota, a suburb of Ho.
She said Atsu sent the motor bike to Accra where he offered it for sale but could not provide the papers covering it prompting the would-be buyer to report him to the Police Striking Force, leading to his arrest and handing over to the Ho Police.
