Beyond the buzz surrounding her dramatic transformation, Lizzo also turned heads with her stunning outfit: a gorgeous, figure-hugging black gown.

The dress featured a fitted bodice with a bow-tie-like design at the top that put on display her cleavage.

It also came with a sheer skirt that flowed elegantly to conceal her pointed heels while offering a glimpse of skin.

For accessories, Lizzo adorned her fingers with an array of dazzling cocktail rings and opted to forgo a necklace.

Lizzo's slimmer figure comes over a year after she shared on TikTok that she was on an "intentional" weight loss journey.

"I am actually on an intentional weight-loss journey right now," the four-time Grammy winner said at the time in her post.

The singer also explained that she doesn't expect to be "considered thin" when she reaches her goal, but she would rather focus on being happy and healthy.

"Even at the end of my weight-loss journey, I'm not going to be considered thin by any means," Lizzo added. "I will still be considered morbidly obese on the BMI. But I will be happy."

Lizzo Recently Achieved Her Weight Loss Goals

It appears all her hard work has panned out well for her, as she announced last month that she had reached her weight loss goal.

To shut down doubters, she also shared evidence from her fitness app, showing she had achieved a body mass index (BMI) of 10.5 and lost 16% of her previous body fat.

"I did it," Lizzo captioned the post. "Today, when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal."

She added, "I haven't seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!"

Since then, the singer has shared posts of herself flaunting her slimmer look.

In one, she opted for an explicit look, wearing just a black bra and pants while taking a selfie of herself.

A separate post featured her dressed modestly in a body-hugging black jumpsuit and leather jacket.

She could also be seen lip-syncing to a background audio that quipped, "If being sexy was a crime, I'd be serving life in prison for multiple homicides."

The Singer Talked About Losing Weight Naturally

In a March 2024 interview with the New York Times, Lizzo emphasized that her weight loss has been intentional and gradual.

The singer explained, "I've been methodical, losing weight very slowly."

She added that natural weight loss takes time and isn't immediately noticeable: "I don't really see it because if anyone who's on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world, and you don't really notice it until you notice it."

Addressing the constant focus on her appearance, Lizzo firmly stated, "My body is nobody's business."

Throughout her weight loss journey, Lizzo has faced claims of using Ozempic to aid her transformation.

Apart from being trolled by some social media users, the singer was also mocked by "South Park" in one of their episodes.

For the most part, Lizzo has chosen to ignore the claims, but in a few instances, she has replied to the trolling in a comical way.

In September last year, she posted a video of herself sighing into the camera with the caption, "When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit."

She also dressed for Halloween as the Ozempic alternative named after her in the "South Park" episode.

The image also had the words "Need self love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence," seemingly to inspire others who have been trolled for their weight.
