Meghan Markle may be back in California, but she's still supporting the Invictus Games — along with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet!

On Feb. 12, the Duchess of Sussex shared a new photo to her Instagram Story after returning home from the Invictus Games in Canada, where she spent the past few days with Prince Harry. In addition to giving a glimpse at the family's home in Montecito, showing fruit in a bucket on the countertop and a view of the greenery out the window, the image featured special souvenirs from the event for the couple's children.

There were treats such as chocolates (in fun formations including mountains and bear paws, as well as an "I Am" logo) and Timbits, bite-size donuts from Canadian-based franchise Tim Hortons.

"A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones!" Meghan captioned the snap. "Cheering you on from home!"

Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, also received custom jerseys from Team Nigeria featuring their names, shown in Meghan's latest social media post. The gifts were given to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a wheelchair basketball event in Vancouver on Feb. 9.

"We did one for him and one for M and for the kids," Nigerian team manager Derrick Cobbinah told PEOPLE. "They said they would be excited to have them. She was very, very excited."

Meghan, 43, and Prince Harry, 40, were together for the kick-off to the adaptive sporting competition for sick, injured and wounded service personnel and veterans held in Vancouver and Whistler. Meghan headed home after the first four days of competition, keeping with a pre-planned arrangement to return to their children. As patron, Harry is expected to remain in Canada for the remainder of the Invictus Games, which run through Feb. 16.

Since launching her new Instagram on Jan. 1, the Duchess of Sussex has experimented with posting reels. She was seen using her camera to film during the Invictus Games and shared her first Instagram Stories at the event, including behind-the-scenes looks at the action. Before heading back to California, she shared videos of herself braving the snow tubing hill in Whistler — with a little encouragement from her husband!

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in Vancouver on Feb. 9, Prince Harry shared that it was important that Meghan was with him for the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014.

"To have my wife here supporting me is amazing. I love that she’s by my side," he says. "It’s such an important piece to this whole adventure."

An onlooker told PEOPLE at the start of the event: "I think it’s great that she’s coming. There is a lot of speculation about them and their marriage, but this reinforces one thing to me, at least — there is no separation. It looks like they present a united front when it comes to matters they both care about."

Although Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet haven't attended the Invictus Games yet, Prince Harry says they are "fascinated" by it.

"It’s a very interesting conversation to have with your kids — to explain why that person is missing a leg, why that person is missing an arm, why do they look the way they do. It’s challenging but important," he says.

“Our kids are still so young, but Archie especially is asking those questions,” Harry says. “I’m constantly trying to make sure that I get it right in explaining what’s happened to [the competitors] and what we do at Invictus to try to make their lives better and give them a chance to redefine themselves."

"And the power of sport," he continues. "I’m hoping that my kids will take on every sport they want as well, because I think it’s really important for all of us.”
