It’s going to be a night of musical magic as the Youth Orchestra takes center stage at the National Theatre of Ghana on Thursday, December 5.
The highly anticipated concert promises to thrill audiences with a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary music.
The performance has been possible through The National Symphony Orchestra, a resident performing group of the National Theatre partnership with KGL Foundation in classical music training.
KGL Foundation is a wholly- owned Ghanaian group of companies commanding a network of specialized business units that promote efficient solutions and effective tech- based related services to customers across Ghana and partner operating regions.
This renowned organization dedicated to supporting arts education, generously sponsored the National Symphony Orchestra to provide best possible education experience to over twenty Ghanaian Youth in eight months comprehensive training in
orchestral instruments, music theory and performance techniques. The programme trained the youth aged between 15-30 years.
This initiative aimed to provide young musician from underserved communities with access to high quality music education, mentorship and performance opportunities that ensure the empowerment of young musicians and foster a love for classical music.
This programme is led by experienced music educators in the National Symphony Orchestra who provided guidance, mentorship and support to the young musicians. This partnership will have a profound impact on the lives of our youth and the community at large.
The Youth Orchestral will present their final performance to thrill audience in classical music at the National Theatre at the Exhibition Hall on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 6pm.
