Communications professional and the Chief Operations Officer of Plugin Digital Limited, Francis Doku, has underscored the zero representation of women at higher levels in the creative arts.

He made this statement at a keynote address at a Joy FM programme on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

In his address, he said, “critical aspect of this discussion in my view is gender representation. It think it will be a bit of a remiss if we have this conversation and not look at how all genders will be well represented,”

Francis therefore noted that while icons like Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Lydia Forson, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro and others have blazed the trail there are still lots of work to be done.

Apart from this, Francis Doku touched on some crucial areas to be projected in revamping the creative economy of Ghana.
