This is Roverman Productions’s first quarter play in 2024 and Dubai or No Sex tells the story of Adwoa, who finds herself increasingly influenced by the success of Simon, her husband's junior brother, leading her to make unreasonable demands of her husband. She wants a fancier car, a more luxurious lifestyle and vacations in exotic destinations like Dubai instead of Kwahu, which her husband prefers.

Adwoa then issues an ultimatum to her husband to heed to her demands or risk their marriage crashing.

Meanwhile, Barnabas, her husband rejects a wonderful opportunity to make millions of cedis and make her dream come true. 

Dubai or No Sex explores the theme of honesty, integrity, and how the perceived flashy lifestyles on social media are negatively affecting healthy relationships and marriages. 

The play will run from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, April 7, 2024. For Fridays it is scheduled at 7 pm, Saturdays at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 8 pm. Tickets are priced at GHC200.
