Afropop artiste Nephron real name Charles Cleland Bruce, is set to thrill Ghanaians and music lovers with the release of four singles all at once.
The singles are Love U Taya, Temperature High, Party All Night Long featuring Mornin Tee and Bad For One featuring GH Poncho.
“Love You Taya talks about loving someone tirelessly and loving someone with great effort or energy. Someone being your best friend from the start who you didn’t intend to fall in love with.
“Temperature High talks about heartbreak, and the good way you can go about it when your lover is playing with your feelings. Party All Night Long is a party that goes on all through the night and it is a song for party lovers.
“Bad for One is about a girl who cares for me and brings out the best in me. No matter what people think or say about her, they can’t stop me from loving her,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
Nephron added that he looks up to the likes of Kojo Antwi, John Legend, Kwabena Kwabena, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
“Kojo Antwi is a legend and he has got a good voice. Growing up, I used to hear his music being played in the house. John Legend is a great musician and we both play the keyboard/piano. Kwabena Kwabena has got a good voice and I like how he sings.
“Stonebwoy puts energy in his singing and he is versatile while Shatta Wale has got my dad’s name Charles Nii Armah and I am also Charles,” he said.
Nephron is also an instrumentalist at church and started playing the piano when he was young. He discovered his singing talent at church when he was given the opportunity to sing in the absence of the lead singer.
He encouraged his fans to keep supporting him. “I want to tell my fans that it is going to be good music all out, I am going to put great effort into every song I make.
“I am expecting a magical and amazing experience because I love music and I put my heart in it to make good music. My manager is also there, he is very supportive in getting where I need to be to. Our goal is to make music that everyone can enjoy,” he concluded.
