The incident happened during the Atlanta stop of the Afrofusion artiste’s ‘African Giant’ tour on Tuesday, September 10,2019.
Video clips widely circulated on social media showed Burna Boy taking a break from his energetic performance to address the fan over his unencouraging demeanour while he entertained patrons.
He then ordered security to see off the man from the venue saying, “Security, carry this guy commot for my front. He can go to the back though. He can’t stay in the front.
'I don’t come here to play so if you want to come and do a fashion show and stand and look at me, go to a f**king church. Your face is not encouraging me.
Another video that has also emerged shows Burna Boy performing on stage with a fan who many say it’s the same person the musician had sent out of his concert moments before.
Although we cannot immediately confirm the reports, the two appeared to have had a good time entertaining patrons as they effortlessly did the popular Zanku dance to the admiration of all.
While a section of music lovers hailed Burna Boy for his action, others have also suggested it was not in the right direction for the self-acclaimed African Giant to embarrass a fan.
The incident has triggered a hot debate on social media as web users have taken to Twitter especially, to express mixed reactions.
