HFC BANK Limited on Tuesday presented a two-bedroom house to the winner of its Homesave
Promotion at its project site situated at Tema Community 25 off the Tema Motorway roundabout.
The two-bedroom house built at the cost of about GH¢55,000 was won by Mr. Mc Ben Adu Asamoah, an employee of Multimedia Broadcasting Company.
The promotion which runs from April 2007 to October 2007 was to reward its loyal customers as well as encourage the habit of savings among Ghanaians.
The promotion, the second to be held by the Bank, required customers to open a Homesave Account with the bank and to keep a minimum balance of GH¢500 which entitled the accounts holder to a coupon for the draw.
Every additional amount in multiples of GH¢500 attracted extra coupons within the period of the promotion.
Mr. Charles Martinson, General Manager Business Development of HFC said the bank operated on the belief that everyone could own a house and asked the public to open a Homesave Account with HFC
Bank which could help them acquire their own homes through mortgages.
Mr. Asare Akuffo, the Managing Director of HFC said the bank would continue to fulfill its promises and meet customers'expectation.
He said the promotion had helped to encourage the habit of savings among Ghanaians and gave those competitive interest rates and the
possibility of owning a home.
Mr Akuffo said HFC believed in the ability of every Ghanaian to own a home saying the possibilities are now becoming more. He said the bank would continue to encourage home ownership through its homesave accounts.
The Managing Director also touched on the affordable public sector housing scheme for both civil and public servants which he said had benefited a lot of workers in the country.
Mr. Mc Ben Adu Asamoah expressed delight for winning the promotion and encouraged people to open a homesave accounts with HFC bank to enhance their chances of owning their personal homes.
