MG Auto Trading Ghana Ltd., the exclusive distributor of MG vehicles in Ghana, has unveiled the all-new MG RX9 SUV at a grand ceremony held at the MG/Mac Ghana Spintex Showroom in Accra.
The event brought together dignitaries, corporate executives, esteemed customers, and members of the media to witness the debut of MG’s flagship 7-seater SUV — a model described as the embodiment of sophistication, strength, and cutting-edge innovation.
The unveiling marked another significant milestone in MG Ghana’s journey to redefine automotive excellence in the country, combining world-class performance with exceptional craftsmanship and design.
Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Raman Malhotra, Country Head of MG Auto Trading Ghana Ltd., welcomed guests and reflected on the company’s rapid growth and future ambitions.
“Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed customers, friends from the media, the press and the Mac family, good evening and a very warm welcome,” he said.
“Today, we gather to unveil the all-new MG RX9, the latest SUV from MG Global. MG is among the fastest growing and most sought-after automotive brands in Ghana. Within just four years of its introduction, we’ve witnessed tremendous demand and exponential growth in sales of MG vehicles.

Mr. Malhotra also announced plans for local assembly of MG vehicles in Ghana, signaling a major step toward industrial expansion and job creation.
“In response to this rising demand and positive customer feedback, we are pleased to announce that MG Ghana will soon commence local assembly of MG vehicles in Ghana. We are currently in discussions with the Ministry of Trade and Industry to complete the necessary formalities required to make this vision a reality,” he revealed.

The all-new MG RX9 unveiled
Following his remarks, Mr. Manish Daryanani, Head of Sales and Marketing at MG Auto Trading Ghana Ltd., officially introduced the all-new MG RX9 to guests.

It’s my pleasure to welcome you all to the launch of the all-new MG RX9, our flagship model, at our MG/Mac Ghana showroom today,” he said.
Mr. Daryanani outlined MG Ghana’s expanding lineup, including the MG5, MG ONE, MG ZS, RX5, RX8, and T60 pickup, noting that the company’s wide product range caters to diverse customer needs across multiple segments.

Highlighting the key features of the new SUV, Mr. Daryanani said the MG RX9 offers unmatched comfort, power, and design, supported by MG’s 5-year or 100,000 km warranty and an extensive dealer network in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, and Tamale.
