As part of activities marking this year’s Customer Service Week and in celebration of its 20th Anniversary, StarLife Assurance, Ghana’s leading indigenous life insurance company, organized free health screening for its valued clients across some of its branches nationwide.
The health screening exercise, which formed part of the company’s appreciation efforts, was held not only at StarLife’s Customer Experience Centre in Accra but also at branch locations in Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, and Tema. The initiative aimed to promote wellness and preventive healthcare among clients while reinforcing StarLife’s commitment to their overall well-being.
The activity saw over 400 participants benefit from a range of medical services, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar and cholesterol testing, BMI measurements, fasting blood glucose and general medical consultations. Attendees also received health education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
Speaking at the event in Accra, Bernice Quainoo, Chief Operations Officer of StarLife Assurance, emphasized the importance of client well-being in the company’s mission:
““As we celebrate two decades of excellence in life assurance, we recognize that true protection extends beyond policies. Health is central to the lives we insure, and this initiative is our way of giving back and showing genuine care for our clients’ well-being,” she stated.
Customer Service Week, observed globally every October, highlights the vital role of quality service and celebrates the people and systems that support customers. This year’s edition was particularly significant for StarLife Assurance as it coincided with the company’s 20-year milestone in Ghana.
Clients across all participating branches expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative, describing it as timely, thoughtful, and impactful.
With a strong client-first approach, StarLife Assurance continues to innovate and expand its services to meet the evolving needs of Ghanaians—living up to its mission of protecting lives and securing futures.
