The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has officially opened applications for the highly anticipated 21st edition of the Ghana Club 100 (GC100), scheduled for October 11, 2024.
This prestigious event, themed ‘Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity’, will spotlight and rank the top 100 companies excelling across Ghana’s diverse business sectors.
The GC100 is more than an awards ceremony—it’s a platform designed to elevate the visibility and competitiveness of local enterprises.
Yofi Grant, CEO of GIPC, emphasized that the initiative has played a pivotal role in building Ghana’s corporate sector by harnessing innovative media strategies and securing vital government backing.
“The GC100 awards scheme has proven to be a powerful vehicle for promoting Ghana’s corporate capacity,” Mr. Grant stated.
Eligibility for the GC100 is open to limited liability companies. Notably, businesses with government participation are also eligible, provided that government ownership is below 50%, unless they are listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Mr. Grant encouraged companies to take advantage of the opportunity by applying online and accessing detailed submission guidelines via GIPC’s website. (https://www.gipc.gov.gh/ghana-club-100-entries/).
The deadline for entries has been extended to September 27, 2024.
This year’s event will maintain its hallmark structure—beginning with exclusive executive networking sessions, followed by the awards ceremony, and concluding with vibrant post-event celebrations.
The Ghana Club 100 remains a hallmark in the nation’s business calendar, setting the benchmark for corporate excellence and leadership.
