The Management of Hollard Ghana, with its subsidiaries Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life Assurance in partnership with Vivo Energy has launched "Hollard-on-the-Go.
The partnership seeks to provide a one-stop-shop for insurance at selected Shell Shops across the country, starting with Adjiringanor, Airport City, Asokwa, Kasoa Amanfrom, Koforidua Highway, Kwadaso, Legon, Old Amakom, Tema Meridian, University of Ghana, and Western Bypass.
Madam Patience Akyianu, Group CEO, Hollard Ghana, who performed the launch, said the partnership would become the yardstick of innovation in the insurance and retail sectors.
She said partnerships were integral to the company's purpose and ingrained in how they operate, adding that "we are always seeking partnerships that deliver a triple win; a win for our customers, our partners and ourselves."
She said termed "Hollard-on-the-go" each of these insurance booths would be manned by their business executives, who were well trained and well versed in their suite of products.
The Group CEO said customers, who visit were guaranteed professional service and the full range of their financial services.
"We will issue insurance policies and materials, receive customer premiums, make claims payments and take customer complaints," he added.
She said for general insurance products, customers visiting selected Shell Shops could get Travel Insurance, Personal Accident, Home Contents and Motor Insurance.
Mr Ben Hassan Ouattara, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, said the partnership was their commitment to being innovative in enhancing their facilities and adapting their retail offer to reflect the needs of their cherish customers.
He said the launch of the Hollard Insurance Service Point at Shell service stations would bring insurance solutions closer to customers.
He said customers could now purchase Hollard products including Life Assurance, General Insurance, Policy renewals and other cutting-edge products and services at their convenience.
"We will continue to lead the market by being the first to introduce new products and services in the industry," he said.
He said for them at Vivo Energy Ghana, "we are happy to mark this milestone in the history of our business as the first energy company to introduce insurance services at our service stations."
Mr Ouattara said all this is aim at ensuring that they give their customers the best experience, when they visit Shell service stations.
"I strongly believe that this partnership is the beginning of a greater and long lasting collaboration, which will yield positive results for our two giant companies in their respective industries," he added.
