Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (-11.11%) declined by GH¢0.02 to close at GH¢0.16, dragging the financial index down by 15.37 points (-0.71%) to close at 2,159.32 with a 0.26% year-to-date return. The manufacturing index recorded no gains or losses at the session, closing at 4,653.56 with a 0.01% YTD return.
Trading activity weakened with 53,879 shares valued at GH¢63,637.38 changing hands from 171,562 shares valued at GH¢151,788.42 recorded at the previous session. Starwin Products Limited (SPL) dominated trades by volume, accounting for 60.69% of total volume traded while Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB) dominated trades by value, accounting for 38.96% of total value traded.
