This promotion which runs from September 1 to December 8, 2017 will give over GH¢4 million worth of prizes to consumers of the non-alcoholic malt beverage.

Addressing the press in Accra, the Brand Manager, Mr Roland Ofori, said, “Malta Guinness is packed with vitamins and iron and provides the fuel to help drive the nation’s can-do attitude.”

Customers are to look out for special promotional PET bottles of Malta Guinness and SMS the code under the crown to a short code for a chance to win airtime and cash prizes.

Mr Ofori explained that 700,000 Malta Guinness drinkers who find a bottle under their crown would instantly win a bottle of the product.

“In addition, every week, one lucky winner who texts the eight-digit code will win GH¢10,000 cash. A further 7,800 consumers will win cash tokens of GH¢50 and GH¢100 over the duration of the promotion,” he said.

Mr Ofori further explained that consumers would not be charged when they send their texts and should not make any payments to anyone whatsoever in order to redeem their prizes.
