Samuel Obeng Amoako and Qanita Abdul have joined the teeming number of customers who have won mouthwatering cash prizes in the ongoing Airtel Wo Mmer? Nie recharge promotion. They were presented with their monthly and weekly cash prizes of GHC 25,000 and GHC 10,000 respectively at a mega bash in Kwahu Obomeng during the Easter festivities.
Samuel Obeng Amoako picked up the monthly cash prize for accumulating the highest points at the end of month two (March) whilst Qanita Abdul took home the weekly prize for accumulating the highest points at the end of the 9th week of the promo.
Wo Mmer? Nie is a consumer recharge promotion launched by Airtel Ghana in February 2017 to reward customers for their loyalty and to empower them to realise their aspirations. The Promo has so far seen over 2.5 million customers win instant prizes such as free talk time, data, social media bundles and smartphones.
Every time a customer recharges with GHC 2 and above, they receive instant points and prizes. They can claim their instant prizes, which includes airtime and data bundles, by sending WIN to 477. On a daily basis, a customer wins a Smartphone if they accumulate the highest recharge points at the end of the day.
In addition, customers with the highest points at the end of every week and month pick up the weekly and monthly cash prizes respectively.
During the Easter celebrations in Kwahu, hundreds of Airtel customers gathered at Kwahu Obomeng to participate in the fanfare that preceded the presentation to the two cash prize winners.
As part of the activities to celebrate customers and reward winners in the promo, Airtel indulged several customers and their significant others to exciting treats including fully paid for paragliding, zip-lining and canopy walk in Kwahu.
Winners excited with their cash prizes; praise Airtel Ghana for introducing promo
Samuel Obeng Amoako, who picked a weekly cash prize of GHC 10,000 a couple of weeks ago was ecstatic for bagging the monthly prize money. He thanked Airtel Ghana for enriching his life through the promo, saying “I am really excited to be the monthly winner this time after picking the weekly prize two weeks ago. After that I was determined to win the bigger prizes so I kept recharging and playing the SMS trivia. After winning this monthly prize, I have my eyes set on the ultimate cash prize of GHC 150,000”
Qanita Abdul, a student and the first lady to win a weekly cash prize in the promo said “I will invest my prize money into my education. I want to encourage all Airtel customers to participate in the promo because it is genuine. Today, I am also a winner”.
