Mr Mike Hammah, the Member of Parliament for Effutu, has called on chiefs and parents to instil the rich Ghanaian culture in the youth.
Mr Hammah said this at separate meetings in 12 communities in the constituency to thank them for voting for President John Dramani Mahama during the December 7 elections in which he lost his parliamentary seat to the New Patriotic party candidate
He said even though he lost the election he would continue to contribute to the development of the area and mentioned the construction of a safe landing fishing harbour and a market complex at the Winneba junction as some of the project to be executed.
Mr Hammah said the establishment of MIHA Education Endowments Fund he started was catering for over 300 brilliant but needy students to further their education at senior high schools and tertiary institutions.
