The New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist has blamed the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) and the National Democratic congress (NDC) administrations for creating the mass unemployment in the country.
Mr Felix Nyarko Antwi, First Constituency Vice Chairman for the Mfantseman West who made the attribution said the divestiture policy of the two administrations killed most of the industries, which provided jobs for the youth.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Mankessim, Mr Antwi pointed out that the injustice meted out to some people by the PNDC through confiscation and auctioning of their assets made a lot of the youth drop-out of school, because their parents were unable to cater for their education.
"The NDC, which is born out of PNDC, has no moral right to accuse the NPP for doing nothing to solve the unemployment mess they have created," Mr Antwi said.
He appealed to the electorate, politicians, the Electoral Commission and the security agencies to make the December polls peaceful and transparent to prove to the world that multi-party democracy in Ghana has matured.
He also appealed to politicians who were threatening violence if the poll did not go in their favour to change their stand.
Mr Sly Abban, Edumadzed Junior High School (JHS) Polling Station Chairman in a contribution appealed to the leadership of the party to resolve all petty misunderstandings within it, to pave way for a smooth and uninterrupted campaign.
