The flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama, is scheduled to arrive in the Brong Ahafo region on July 5 at the start of a campaign tour of 24 constituencies in the region.
Dr Mahama will visit an orphanage at Duaywa-Nkwanta and interact with market women, commercial drivers, chiefs and other opinion leaders during which he will address issues of unity and his campaign theme of "change".
A press release by the PNC campaign said Dr Mahama's address will focus on key areas such as quality education, improving the health care delivery system, water, as well as improved agricultural systems for better Ghana.
The release, signed by Mr. George Inusah Bawa, Brong-Ahafo Regional Secretary of the PNC, said Dr Mahama is the only candidate, capable of offering Ghanaians better living conditions.
"The PNC will salvage the economy especially in the area of education, health and agriculture and will support the average Ghanaian towards eradication of poverty that has bedevilled Ghanaians for the past years."
