Eric Okyere had handed Ghana Airports the lead in the 19th minute, but that advantage proved short-lived as Wilmar seized control with a composed and clinical response. Goals from Sadick Moro, Ayi Tagoe and Roland A. Mensah underlined their attacking efficiency and ensured a deserved turnaround.

Telecel followed with a commanding display against the National Communications Authority, producing a controlled 2–0 win built on defensive solidity and timely finishing.
