Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has assured that fans who move to the Accra Sports Stadium to watch Ghana’s game against Comoros will enjoy a great ambiance at the venue.
He said this in an exclusive interview on Citi FM’s News Digest ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier which takes place on Sunday, October 11 at 19:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With Ghana all but qualified to next year’s World Cup, a big crowd is expected to witness the game leading to concerns of overcrowding as witnessed in previous games but Kofi Adams is sure that scenario will be avoided.
“If you don’t have a ticket, don’t make an attempt to enter the stadium. A fan base has been established at the Independence Square for those who do not have tickets but want to enjoy the stadium ambiance.”

“For those who have tickets, be assured that you will have the best of games; a great ambiance has been created for you. The stadium has been cleaned up, washrooms have been worked on and so we expect to have a good game” the Sports Minister said.
