The second edition of the African Youth Scrabble Championship qualifiers is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2025, at Accra Technical University.

This one-day event offers young scrabble enthusiasts an opportunity to demonstrate their tactical skills, with winners automatically qualifying to represent Ghana at the Nairobi-Brighton International Academy Championship in Kenya from August 14-17, 2025.

Competitors will be categorised into under-15 and under-19 boys and girls.

Danso Mensah, Personal Assistant to the President of the Scrabble Association of Ghana, said, "We are extending an invitation to new young scrabble players to showcase their tactical skills, providing them with the opportunity to compete against Ghana's most skilled young scrabble players later this year in Kenya."
