Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Nico Williams' representatives over a potential transfer in what could be one of the coups of the summer.

The Gunners are looking to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of next season, having seen a shortage of forwards derail their title charge this term.

And according to German sports media outfit, Bild, Mikel Arteta has singled out Athletic Bilbao bright spark Williams as a top target for his side.

The 22-year-old stamped his mark as one of the most promising wingers in football after starring at Euro 2024 with tournament winners Spain, forming a formidable wing partnership with Lamine Yamal.

Arsenal have now reached out to the player's camp, opening dialogue with regards to future switch. 

But despite his high stock, it's claimed Arsenal could secure his signature for something of a bargain fee.
