Ghanaian forward Thelma Baffour etched her name in history as the second Ghanaian to win the prestigious CAF Women’s Champions League.
She was part of the TP Mazembe side that clinched a dramatic 1-0 victory over Morocco’s AS FAR Club in last Saturday’s thrilling final.
Baffour, who made a late cameo in the decisive match, follows in the footsteps of compatriot Blessing Agbomadze, a former champion with AS FAR.
Before her move to TP Mazembe in 2023, Baffour was a standout performer for Jonina Ladies in the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League in Ghana, earning recognition for her goal-scoring ability.
Now basking in her Champions League success, Baffour has set her sights on donning the Black Queens jersey, having last represented Ghana as part of the Black Maidens squad four years ago. Her journey is one of talent, determination, and dreams yet to unfold.
