Serie A side Atalanta have agreed a deal in the region of £10m with Everton for defender Ben Godfrey.

Godfrey is scheduled to travel to Milan on Friday for a medical with last season's Europa League winners.

Godfrey reportedly, external saw a £10m move to the Serie A side fall through in January.

French club Lyon had made a £12.7m bid for the 26-year-old.

Godfrey joined from Norwich for £25m in 2020 and has gone on to make 93 appearances for the Toffees, including 16 last season.

He is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Goodison Park.
