Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach, David Ocloo, has pinned the team’s terrible form on the playing unit’s loss of confidence.
He said this in a post game interview after Kotoko lost 2-0 to Dreams FC at Dawu with the loss being Kotoko’s fifth in six games.
The Porcupine Warriors are enduring a treacherous run of form since the second round of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season commenced in late February.
The club ranks 11th in the 18 team league standings after ending the first round in the top three and David Ocloo believes a lack of confidence is the reason for this slump in form.
“When you are losing, confidence goes down and you could see it in the first half, they were panicking and they couldn’t play how you and I know them to play. If we play the way we played the second half, I think we can turn things around.”
