Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha believes Brighton are likely to keep their status as a European team if they continue to approach games in the way they are.
The Seagulls drew 2-2 in Marseille, external on Thursday to secure their first European point, before another 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
"This is Brighton that played in Europe midweek and I feel like that's going to be the feeling around them for the next few years if they carry on going the way that they are," Onuoha told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast.
"They play a certain attractive style of football, they score a ton of goals. They are the Premier League top scorers, which is funny because under Graham Potter they were criticised for playing nice football but not scoring goals. That's how much things have changed for them.
"They're a good side. They have a good record against Liverpool in recent times as well. They do offer opportunity to opposition because they do take risks but the manager is comfortable with it.
"Ultimately, that's his identity and their identity. If you go there and get it wrong you get beaten quite severely - but if you get it right you have a great chance."
