Former England captain Alan Shearer on Manchester City's peformance against Arsenal on Match of the Day 2: "There's not doubt that they miss Rodri. He's a world-class player and don't forget they are missing the creativity of De Bruyne.
"They'll be all right - as Pep said, they'll come back. It will hurt them, but they will come back stronger.
Former Premier League midfielder Danny Murphy questioned some of Pep Guardiola's team selection: "Moving Alvarez - who's has been so good in that role behind Haaland. Pushing him out wide and bringing in a midfielder to play in that role, Lewis who's more defensive, a full-back.
"He had three defensive midfielders, and if I was looking at that team in the dressing room at Arsenal I'd be thinking: 'Come on, boys.'
"My concern is that this makes City angry, and they will now go on a longer unbeaten run than they usually do, which they are capable of."
