Ex-Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan, was among a host of retired football stars who were at the family house in Accra of the late Christian Atsu to mourn the passing of the player.
Gyan who played alongside the 31-year-old in the national team, signed the book of condolence which has been opened for the player.
Sulley Muntari was another notable face who also took turns to sign the book of condolence.
Christian Atsu became one of the casualties of the over 45,000 people who died following the devastating earth quake that hit Turkey on February 6.
Atsu who was buried under the rubble was discovered 12 days after the incident and was flown back home last Sunday.
