It will climax some of the previous exciting games for the various categories of the third edition of the competition which began last Friday.

Last Saturday witnessed a fierce competition in the 30-39 years category as Ismaila Lamptey teamed up with Bernard Nii Bortey to beat Dr Dennis Atehnijia and Clinton Adjetey Sowah 9-7, while George Heckson and Nana Sam-Awotwi easily beat Peter Aggrey and Fred Ansah 9-1.

Frank Quartey-Simpson and Richmond Kotey were on fire as they dispatched  Fares Al-Ayadi and Peter Odoi 9-2; the combination of Derrick Dankyi and Bilal Bin Hassan were also no match for Alfred Okang and Yaw Kodom who won 9-5 in the 40-49 category, while Albert Dzah and Oheneba had a tough time beating Wisdom Nuworkpor and Ekow Arthur 9-8(2).

In the Mixed Doubles, Nana Yaw Sarpong and Inge Uriot beat Sammy Ewool and Augustina Yamack 9-3, George Mills and Eugenia Asigri overpowered Richmond Kotey and Edinam Tagbor 9-5, while Ismaila Lamptey and Evelyn Enunwah beat Bernard Nii Bortey and Victoria Kwesifio 9-7.

In other Mixed Doubles games, Reto Dennis Wicki and Precious Nunana beat Blay Sarassoro and Emefa Nukpe 9-4, and Nana K Sam-Awotwi and Faustina Tagoe also teamed up to beat Daniel Kafui Abiti and Nana Yaa Frimpong 9-2.

The tournament is being organised by Grandmaster Tennis Events with support from the National Lottery Authority, Volta River Authority, Accra City Hotel, Thomas Amoako Boafo, Quality Life Assurance, Soul Food Restaurant, St. Michael Fruit Juice and Mr Baly Sarassoro.
