Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele looks unlikely to join Paris St-Germain before the end of the January transfer window, reports Guillem Balague.
The 24-year-old France international had agreed terms with PSG and could still move in the summer when his contract at the Nou Camp expires.
Barca paid an initial £96.8m for Dembele in 2017 but are now asking him to take a pay cut or leave.
Manchester United and Chelsea also showed interest in a deal for him.
However, the Premier League clubs are not expected to be able to challenge PSG for the France winger's signature because of financial fair play restrictions, which would leave them needing to offload players before adding Dembele's wages to their books.
Barcelona had been keen to offload Dembele in order to sign either Spain and Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, with whom they have a deal agreed, or Arsenal's Gabon forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Dembele's representatives were happy with the agreement with PSG and Barcelona were suggesting players that could have been coming in the other direction.
Why have PSG gone from "no comment" to trying to stop the story?
My view: harmony is essential for Mauricio Pochettino, he's managed to find it. Bringing Dembele in now would unsettle Angel di Maria to start with.
But if Kylian Mbappe goes, Dembele would be perfect.
PSG's sporting director Leonardo, with the verbal agreement with Dembele's representatives, has managed to place PSG at the front of the queue when he leaves Barca.
If he doesn't leave today, I wonder if United and Chelsea (the only Premier League teams that negotiated with his agents) will return?
