Ghana’s Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies will play ASFA Rabat of Morocco in the first semi-final match of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League in Cairo on Monday.
The Group A winners, Hasaacas, were the first to progress to the last four stage and are hoping to replicate the performances that saw them win two games and drew one in their group campaign.
ASFA Rabat placed second in Group B with a win, a loss and a draw to seal qualification.
Having rested two of the key defenders in the final group game, Coach Yusif Basigi is likely to revert to his starting line-up which secured the victories, with Blessing Shine Agbomadzie and Azumah Bugre making a return ahead of Comfort Owusu and Doreen Copson.
The other semi-final game will be between South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Group A winners, and Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea, runners-up in Group B.
