Nimble-footed WAFA playmaker, Augustine Boakye, leads an array of Premier League stars who have been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Boakye has been phenomenal in the month of June but will be fighting for the gong alongside other exciting players such as Asante Kotoko’s Fabio Gama, Emmanuel Anaful of Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks’ Benjamin Boateng.

Last month the WAFA player scored two goals and bagged two Man of the Match awards helping his club to finish third in the league while Gama also churned out a thrilling performance that saw him scored two goals and picked two Man of the Match awards.

Even though Anaful didn’t score last month, his exploits on the pitch saw him also wining two Man of the Match awards while Boateng scored twice for his side and picked one Man of the Match award.

Winner of the Player of the Month will take home a 41’ inch NASCO Television set and a plague from NASCO Electronics.
