Swansea deputy skipper, Andre Ayew, salvage a point for Steve Cooper’s side after his last gasp header rescued them from the claws of defeat against Brentford on Tuesday.

The Ghana international scored 13 minutes from full time when he heads home a free-kick Matt Grimes’ low cross.

That goal seems to have broken the hearts of Brentford who took a lead through Ivan Toney in the first half.

Swansea had created a lot of chances at a point. David Raya denied Kyle Naughton’s fierce shot before Andre Ayew’s left-food effort forced another fine save from the Brendford goalkeeper.

Ayew’s manager, Copper was happy by the Ghana skipper’s contribution insisting that his presence on the pitch was very pivotal since he was always challenged to give out his best for the club.
