The National Sports Authority (NSA) has directed its regional directorates to suspend all supporting activities despite the lifting of the partial lockdown by President Akufo-Addo in Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi metropolitan areas.
According to a statement signed by Mr. Charles Amofah, Head of Public Relations at NSA, the review of the lockdown conditions by the President, necessitated the adjustment of its activities.
The statement said, "All sporting activities remain suspended till further notice. You are to ensure that only essential services are provided from our various directorates including Head Office, Departmental Heads of Security, Administration, Public Relations, Human Resources, and Accounts are expected to be at post.
"All other staff are encouraged to work from home using digital workplace, excerpt when their services are critically needed, which in that case permission must be sought from the Director-General."
It advised its staff to observe social distancing protocols and personal hygiene.
