Mr. Zida received received six out of seven votes with one absention to defeat his competing count erpart, Robert Duncan, Central Regional Football Chairman.

Mr. Zida was duly sworn in and would join the 11 other members on the Executive Council.

By his election onto the Executive Council Mr Zida would chair the Referees appointment Committee of the GFA for the 2019/2020 upcoming football season.

Meanwhile, GFA would launch the new season on Friday at the Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.
