Former league winners, Court Winners from Donkorkrom exhibited their dominance when they beat home team Supreme Fingers from Nkawkaw by three sets to one in the week eight fixture of the Akro-Ako Eastern Regional Volleyball League played at the Nkawkaw Sports Stadium.
Court Winners won the first set by 28 to 26, the young boys from Afram Plains won the second set by 25 to 13 to put them in a comfortable lead.
Court Winners lost the third set to Supreme Fingers by 22 to 25 and won the fourth set by 25 to 13 to carry the day.
The other match saw experienced Unity Club from Koforidua lost narrowly to league debutants, St Gabriel Volleyball Club from Konongo by two sets to three.
Unity club managed to win the first leg by 25 to 17 and St Gabriel Club won the second set 25 to nine.
The Koforidua club won the third set by 25 to 19 and St Gabriel came back for the second time in the game to win the fourth set by 25 to 20 and went on to win the fifth and final set by 15 to 8.
